Background: David worked for Shell Oil Company, in the Middle East, for 21 years and retired as buyer in 1996 to take up migration in Australia. Having come to Perth he then worked as a Purchasing Officer for a mining company for three years, before ultimately buying Club Travel in 1999 and is now currently running a successful business.
Travel History/Expertise: David while being a buyer for Shell travelled extensively both for work and personal interest. Although he has knowledge of most regions, David’s prime expertise is in both the Middle East, having spent 21 years in the country, and India, being the place of his birth.
Sue Scott Title: Proxy Manager
Qualifications: ATAQ Level Travel Manager, ICCA Masters in Cruise Consultation, Fares and Ticketing level 1 and 2
Availability: 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday. Sue is also available after hours on most days by request
Experience: 31 Years in the travel industry!
Background: Sue began in the industry as a flight attendant in 1967. From there she moved to reservations, focusing on domestic holiday travel. When her children where born she left the industry, taking time to take care of them and giving her the opportunity to travel herself. Twelve years later, when her kids had grown up she made the decision to get back into the industry and has been working as a travel agent ever since.
Travel History/Expertise: Sue has travelled extensively having travelled through most of Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the west Coast of America. She has also been on quite a few cruises around Australia, the Mediterranean, Croatia and New Zealand. She is the foremost expert on cruising at Club Travel, but due to her many years in the industry and her wide range of travel she has knowledge of most areas.
Manil De Me Title: Tour Director Availability: 9am - 1pm Monday Experience: 28 Years in the Travel Industry
Background: Before working for Club Travel, Manil worked for the largest tourism company in Sri Lanka for 25 years. He initially started as a travel executive, eventually making his way up to becoming both a board member and Managing director of the company. Manil has dealt with all areas of travel and has wide experience in doing the best for his clients.
Travel History/Expertise: Manil has travelled widely having visited to all areas of the world, except South America. Manil regularly travels and has a large knowledge of many different regions. Having worked for the largest travel company in Sri Lanka for 25 years has comprehensive knowledge of Sri Lanka and the surrounding areas. Bisha Balan
